SHANTE LIBURD
Artistic Director
Shante has over 10 years professional dance experience within the creative arts industry.
She studied at the Northern School of Contemporary dance conservatoire (NSCD), one of the leading dance institutes within the UK. After completing her training she worked for the professional contemporary dance company Ace Dance and Music, where she was given the opportunity to travel across the UK and Europe to perform the company's repertoire in theatres.
Prior to studying at NSCD, she was selected to participate in a youth dance scheme known as YYD; Yorkshire's Young Dancers - a specialised youth dance scheme which offered professional dance training to talented individuals under 18 years.
Though her expertise is in contemporary dance and Ballet, she has also worked as a freelance dancer performing commercial dance for corporate companies and events and has experience in teaching and delivering street dance and commercial dance classes.
